Operations Manager | Lighting

You lead the design, build, and maintenance segments and turn an ambitious business plan into concrete results. In Brussels, you work with your team on sustainable, efficient lighting for clients across various sectors.

Your work location: Brussels.

• lead and inspire your team
• strengthen your team according to the business plan and ensure optimal staffing
• proactively approach clients based on the strategic plan
• identify opportunities in the lighting market and propose tailored solutions
• monitor market developments and select appropriate lighting solutions
• develop new business models such as light as a service
• ensure execution and any necessary maintenance
• source project management competencies when needed
• collaborate with internal and external partners
• oversee recruitment, training, and team management to ensure quality project execution
• manage the full Profit & Loss of the Lighting department
• implement strategies to increase revenue, reduce costs, and ensure profitability

• master’s degree in engineering, business, or equivalent
• minimum 10 years of experience with lighting projects from design to maintenance
• strong leadership skills and experience with cross-functional teams
• experience in business development and market expansion
• financial insight and experience with P&L management
• communication and interpersonal skills focused on customer satisfaction and business growth
• entrepreneurship and a proactive mindset
• ability to organize, motivate, and coach a team
• you are fluent in French, Dutch, and English
